1. Who we are

Transkers ("we", "us") is a Goods Transport Agency at Alur BDA Phase 2, Huskur Road, Bengaluru 562123. This policy explains what personal data we collect through transkers.com, WhatsApp, email and our booking systems, and how we use it. It is written to meet the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.

2. What we collect

• Enquiries and quotes: name, company, phone, email, pick-up and delivery locations, cargo details.
• Bookings: consignor and consignee names, addresses, GSTIN, invoice and e-way bill details, and the contact people at each end.
• Carriers and drivers: name, phone, vehicle RC, driving licence, insurance, PAN, bank details and TDS declarations.
• Delivery records: POD photos, delivery confirmations and, where you share them, locations.
• Website: basic server logs (IP address, browser, pages visited). The quote form sends what you type to our desk by email and keeps a copy in our website's own records. If you use live chat, the chat tool handles that conversation for us. We do not run advertising trackers.

3. Why we use it

To quote, book and move your cargo; to issue bilties, invoices and PODs; to pay carriers and meet tax and TDS obligations; to reply to your messages; and to keep records the law requires.

4. Who we share it with

Only with those who need it to complete the carriage or meet the law: the carrier and driver on your load, the consignor or consignee, tax and transport authorities, our bank, and service providers that host our systems (such as email, WhatsApp, live chat, website hosting and our booking platform). We do not sell personal data.

5. How long we keep it

Booking, invoice and tax records are kept for the period Indian tax and GST law requires (currently up to eight years). Enquiries that do not become bookings are deleted within 24 months.

6. Your rights

You may ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, withdraw consent for non-essential use, or raise a grievance. Write to info@transkers.com. We reply within 30 days. Records we must keep by law cannot be deleted until the retention period ends.

7. Security

Access to booking and carrier data is limited to our team and is protected by passwords and access controls on the systems we use.

We will post any update on this page with a new date.
